Description: US Springfield M1 Garand .30-06 semi automatic rifle, stamped "8 65" (July 1965) on the barrel. This is the iconic M1 Garand battle rifle, with the full length hardwood stock and handguard, parkerized hardware, and famous clip-fed action. The rifle is in excellent condition with only very minor blemishes, shown in the photos. The action is very smooth, and the bore is superb. We measured both the throat and muzzle erosion with a Brownells gauge; which meaured 1 at the muzzle, and 1.5 at the throat, indicating the rifle was not shot extensively and the barrel has plenty of life left. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. A fine shooter or collectors item!
