Michael Petrov described these rifles in his book "Custom Gunmakers of the 20th Century" and this rifle has modifications which exemplify G&H: re-shaped stock, checkering, metal grip cap, horn or ebony fore end tip, banded front sight base with hood, rear barrel band, G&H sling swivel studs, checkered bolt knob, rust blue metal finish. Petrov added that many of these rifles didn't even get marked with the firm's name; this one is no exception. You just got to recognize what you're looking at. Wood and metal finishes are in exquitite shape, with just small scattered handling marks. Weighs 9-1/4 pounds, 13-1/8" pull from serrated trigger over the checkered and engraved stee butt plate. 24" barrel has a like-new bore: crisp, clean and shiny with sharp rifling.
