Remington's Smoot Model 2 pocket revolver - The .32 Rimfire cartridge-firing New Model Revolver was designed by inventor William S. Smoot. The pistol quickly gained popularity among those wanted an easily concealed weapon with reliability. The No. 2 Smoot differs from the original in that it has a straight ejector rod retained by a cross pin rather than the screw-retained, stepped ejector rod found on the No. 1. This revolver features a blade front sight with a rear groove and hard rubber grips. Barrel Length: 2 3/4", Weight: 10 oz. Retains 98% of the original Nickel finish. Circa: 1878-1888.
