Description:
This very nice revolver. It has a five-shot, cylinder that is chambered for .31 caliber. Single action percussion. Has a 4 inch octagon barrel with an excellent bore. The frame, hammer and loading lever are case colored; the barrel and cylinder, are blued. The grip frame is silver plated brass; and the unitary, one piece grips are varnished walnut. The barrel is stamped "ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT/ NEW-YORK CITY". The frame has "COLT'S/PATENT on the left side. Has the "STAGE COACH" scene on the cylinder along with the "COLT'S PATENT/No. 63192". The serial number #63192 is found on all numbered parts, including the grips! The condition of this fine revolver very good and retains approx. 65%+ of it's original finish. I have included 20 pictures to demonstrate the condition. Serial number is #63192, manufactured in 1853, before the Civil War.This is a Very nice conditionColt 1849 Pocket Model Revolver..
