Description:
Winchester Custom pre-64 model 70 caliber 458 Lott with a 22 inch double lugged barrel. The barrel is Mag-Na-Ported and stamped 450 Watts, which is the precursor to the Lott cartridge and is interchangeable with it. It was built on a 1948 transition model 70 action. The Pac-Nor barrel has a bright shiny bore with sharp rifling. The barrel bluing is in good shape, save for a gun rack thin spot. There is an embossed gold band at the muzzle. The bolt is jewelled, and the bolt release and magazine button are checkered. The stock is French walnut with an ebony forend, and has a metal grip cap.The stock is weighted; glass bedded; and has 22 lines per inch checkering. The length of pull is 13-3/4 inches.There are minor small hunting dings that do not penetrate the finish, no chips or cracks. The rifle comes with a Leupold Vari-X lll 1.75x6 matte, heavy duplex scope in one piece Redfield mounts and rings. Included is a new set of Hornady dies and 100 rounds of new Hornady brass; 20 rounds of Bell brass; 37 Woodleigh 400 grain bullets. There is a safari sling with Pacmyer detent swivels to match the gun.
