This is a very nice , high condition, English style Double Action & Single Action Revolver. It is made on the Lefaucheaux style patent of the 1880's and Civil War Period. It is a J. Coventry Model. This revolver has numerous English Proof Markings. The Serial number is marked in the left side of the frame, "2404", along with "VFYERS/BVE". It is stamped ," J.NEWARK/COVENTRY," on the right side of frame. English pattern design. Six shot. DA & SA. Bore measures 12 mm caliber. Has a 6.25" Round barrel with a very good bore. The Barrel , frame and straps are a clean soft grey patina with razor sharp markings. The cylinder has approx. 50% of brilliant high polish blue finish. The finely checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition! The bore and action are fine. I accept USPS Money orders or Bank Cashier's Check. Will accept personal check, with shipping hold.
