Description:
This is a one of a kind 40X sporter made for a high level DuPont employee. It was made in the late 70's. In those days the employees in the custom shop were mainly expert wood and metal workers. This rifle stock was crafted by an employee that thought the 40X Sporter needed a better, slimmer and more custom look. Fantastic checkering and work. The powers to be were not interested in changing anything with that short production schedule so that is where an insider ended up with it. It has been used and has some normal blue wear and handleing marks. The scope is a perfect discontinued Leupold model that will focus and set paralax downd to 25 yards. Bore is perfect. Here is a chance to pick up one of these fabulous rimfires at a great price and not be afaid to shoot it. The rifle will ship in the lower 48 states for $45.00. No sales to California.
