Description:
This very nice revolver. It has a five-shot, cylinder that is chambered for .31 caliber. Single action percussion. Has a 4 inch octagon barrel with a very good bore. The metal surfaces of this revolver have mostly toned to a mottled blue-grey patina showing high edge wear and spots of light pitting scattered throughout. . The grip frame is silver plated brass; and the unitary, one piece grips are varnished walnut. The barrel is stamped "ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT/ HARTFORD CT.". The frame has "COLT'S/PATENT" on the left side, that is ledgible with wear. Has the "STAGE COACH" scene on the cylinder along with the "COLT'S PATENT/No. 204716". The serial number #204716, is found on all numbered parts, including the grips! I have included 20 pictures to demonstrate the condition. Serial number is #204716, manufactured in 1862, during the Civil War.This is a Very nice condition Colt 1849 Pocket Model Revolver.. Buyer pays $20.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
