Payment Types Accepted: Description: What an unreal piece of firearm history! This is a new model Army .44 percussion revolver. Let me preface this by saying I have no papers or history on this gun. The owner contacted Remington. They said all the records pertaining to these guns were destroyed in a fire. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful and I believe functional gun. Bore is clean and shiny. Cylinders are clean and open. Gun cocks in 2 positions. 8 inch octagon barrel. 6 shot. Nickeled. Engraving is a floral type design with inspection letters all around the gun. Serial number on the barrel is close to the serial number on the frame, but not the same number. There is some piting under the nickel. This gun would be the centerpiece of any gun collection. I will be happy to answer what questions I can. I apologize for the lighting in the pics. I have many more photos. Price includes shipping.
