Description:
Painted in the old style vintage steer or buffalo scapula painted by Gordon R. (Buzz) Adolfson, February 26, 1977. One side showing a big horn ram with signature and date, the other the first tri-seat ski lift noting Showdown, Montana. Montana's oldest natural snow ski resort opening in 1936. The triple chair was installed in 1977 "Buzz" Adolfson was a forest service employee at the time. Obviously this was a gift to a friend. On the end noted "May God be with you and your family. With Love, Buzz." Printed in an early style similar to other scapula's we have seen painted by Joseph Sharp.  Measures 11 1/2" x 7" x 3"deep.
