Description:
Model 1863 Remington zouave civil war rifle in very good Cond. Stock is very good plus with two cartouches on left flat. Lock plate has Remington markings and 1863 date with some scattered pitting. Barrel is smooth with 80% original finish and very good bore. bolster area behind rear sight is pitted but date and proof markings are still there. Patch box still has original tools inside and also comes with a rare brass tompion. Shoulder sling is in great condition with zero flaking and cracks and also maker stamp and U.S. Ord. Dept. stamp. Hard to find a better sling and would sell for $400 on its own.Bore is very good.
