Description: 28" O/U matted-vent-rib barrels with double white bead sights, choked modified & full. 14 1/4" pull from gold-plated single-selective trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 5/8" - 2 1/4" drop. No cast. Highly figured walnut stocks with field forend, long tang round knob grip, classic point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under the forend and over the wrist and with a flourish extending back from the grip. Two black ducks in inlaid in raised gold on each side and on the bottom of the receiver and with a duck's head in gold on the triggerguard; all surrounded with acanthus scroll on a lacquered French gray receiver. Signed H. Humblet on right and A. Crousse on left. Number 173 of a limited run of 500. Built 1982. New condition and appears unfired. In Browning trunk case. SOLD |
