Description:
SOLD! Winchester pre-64 M70 standard length in 30-06 caliber. This barrel is a Sam May Apex "Imperial" 24" (23 1/4" exposed) with a 1-10 twist installed by King's Gunworks. Dean Wentworth (stockmaking instructor of Colorado School of Trades) made the stock from a dramatic feather-crotch blank of American Black Walnut. The original action dates from March, 1955.
