STEYR MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER M72 OR 72 SL .22-250 REM SPORTING RIFLE WITH REDFIELD SCOPE, CIRCA 1972-76. 23.6" Tapered fluted twist barrel with no sights(correct). Mint unfired bore. Barrel stamped "Steyr, Grand Rapids, MI." on left side and "'O' NORM M3170 STLF3" on right. 99% original blue on barrel. Flat butterknife bolt handle. Receiver with factory blue/plum marked left of action Steyr logo, then "Mannlicher Schonauer M72" over "Made in Austria". Rotary magazine. Steyr state of the art Toggle like rotating safety with red and white dots and visible cocking indicator/firing pin with red dot. European style halfstock Monte Carlo cheekrest stock with crisp checkering and deluxe style forend/ pistolgrip caps. Dbl set trigger to Steyr vent rubber buttpad has a 14.2" LOP. 3x9 Redfield widefield scope on original Steyr quick release twist off rings/mounts. With nice leather sling. Mint unfired and uncarried condition. Steyr light medium rifle.
