Description:
Up for your conseration is a beautiful WInchester Model 20 .410 single shot shotgun. These shotguns were manufactured in limited numbers over a 5 year period and are the staple of the single shot .410 shotgun. This Winchester has survived the many years since its manufacture very well. That being said the blue on the receiver is entirely absent, suggesting the gun was carried a lot and scarcely fired. The 26in barrel is all original with very nice blue, some minor pitting on some surface areas near the muzzle and one larger pit visible in the photos. The wood is in wonderful condition with only a few minor imperfections "battle scars" from serving many years as a dependable shotgun. The fore end is in equally nice condition. The Underside and metal structure of the fore end are all matching with no major wear at all. The Full Choke barrel is MINT inside with hardly any wear at all and amazingly mirror like given its age. Lockup is firm and tight and auto ejector still works flawlessly. This gun was in way refinished, the bore and wood are like new and all numbers are matching. Front brass bead is also original and in very nice condition. The original WInchester buttplate is also in very good condition with no cracks or damage and only the slightest amount amount of wear.
