The rifle's production code of "dou" stands for Waffen Werke Brunn AG Bystrica. it is a standard 8 M/M Mauser military production rifle. It is all matching serial numbers including the bolt. The bore is bright and minty. The original bluing would rate a 98% and better condition. The sling is a correct original military sling for this rifle. It has a correct rubber muzzle protector cap. The stock and forend have no dents or other damage. The sight cover is intact as well as the cleaning rod. This 98 K is in near unissued condition! It is seldom that a Mauser World War Two military issued rifle comes to the market in this fine of condition today!
