Marlin Model 1895CB in .45-70 Government. 26" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, front steel blade sight with a brass bead, semi-buckhorn rear with an elevator, cross-bolt safety, walnut stocks with a checkered plastic butt-plate. The barrel is JM stamped, giving distinction the rifle is a pre-Remington manufacture.
