Description:
U.S. Eagles Head Officers Sword. Circa 1840s. Blade is 27” with foliate motif. Ricasso is marked W.H.H. & J. on one side and Philadelphia on other. Eagles head pommel. Ivory grip. Single chain knuckle guard from Eagle head to quillion. Counter guard has a federal Eagle. Scabbard is very good with a few minor dents, and is stamped Horstmann.
