Description:
.38-40 caliber, 24" octagon barrel with half magazine. Finished blue with casehardened lever, hammer, and buttplate. Sights consist of beech folding front with the hoop missing. Mid-barrel sight blank, and Lyman folding sporting tang sight. Plain forend and straight grip buttstock ending with a crescent buttplate. Retaining much of the original barrel and receiver blue. Very nice wood with some handling marks from use. Super bright bore. Mechanically perfect. Mfg. 1893.
