Inland Partrooper Carbine M1 A, Cal .30, Ser. 29382XX, This is a "Rack Queen" is areally fine example of an original Inland Carbine that has had 3 updates. The push button safety ,has been replaced with the safer lever style. The narrow barrel band has been with replaced with the bayonet type and the flip rear sight with a graduated type. The flat bolt, and two rivet hand guard are still the first type. The condition of the gun is super. It retains about 96-97% of the original gray green Parkerizing. The only loss appears to be from sharp edge silvering and some slight loss on the bolt rail. The barrel is stamped Inland Div. and dated 10-43. All parts are correct for the gun. The pistol grip is stamped with the proper P proof and the condition of the wood is great. Non splits cracks or dings anywhere. The folding stock also outstanding. The interior of the butt plate has the correct part number and the all important "Daisy" imprint. The leather cheek piece is properly aged but in perfect condition and the correct type of rolled back rivets are used. The slide rails feed ramp and bolt show little use and the bore is outstanding. Mirror bright and razor sharp. Not whisp of frost to be seen. The guns comes with the original oiler, canvas sling and one 10 round magazine correctly stamped " A I".. A great opportunity for the serious collector to get a. "Rack Qeen".. at a modest price.....Shipped...$3395. OBO
