Description:
Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade, 28 gauge. Manufactured in approx 1969/1970. Chokes are skeet, vent rib barrel is 26.5". Gold plated single selective trigger. Features a silver grey receiver with 2 smaller pigeons surrounded by fine scroll engraving on each side of the frame; the receiver bottom and tangs also exhibit fine scroll work. Beautiful high grade walnut. Original Browning butt plate. This gun is as new in the original box, the box is numbered to the gun. Includes the original owners manual. This Browning has been sent to Browning for salt inspection, clean up and refurbish as it did initially indicate some salt exposure. Documentation is available from Browning regarding the clean-up. It is now 100 per cent and a beautiful hard to find original 28 gauge pigeon grade in the original box from 50 years ago.
