Erfurt KAR98 8mm caliber rifle. 98A made in 1910. Arsenal refurbished post WWI. Receiver has double date 1910 and 1920. Stock has a 1940 cartouche. Serial numbers are matching, except for the lower barrel band, stock and a couple screws. Bore has strong rifling with some frosting. A pre-WWI 98A that could have seen use in both World Wars.
