We are proud to bring you this pre-war all original condition A. Francotte model 14E 410ga side by side shotgun.  This shotgun was made in 1925 and comes in at a total of 4LBS even.  The 26 inch barrels retain a bright and shiny bore with fixed full and full choke and 2.5 inch chamber.  The automatic ejectors work perfectly.   This shotgun is equipped with an automatic safety.  The double triggers break clean and crisp.  The action opens and assembles smoothly and locks up tight with no wiggle.  The receviver is marked “A. Francotte Maker & Patentee Liege Belgium” and appears that none of the screws have been turned.  The engraving remains clean and crisp with great amounts of original case color.  The hand rubbed oil finished stock shows a factory length of pull of 14.25 inches with a 1 3/8 drop at the comb and 2 5/8 drop at the heel with a neutral cast.  Overall this shotgun rates 87-90% original with some blue thinning and patina on the barrels, great traces of original case color and some slight handling marks in the stock.  Comes with a light brown leather case (50’s era), wooden cleaning rod, nickel snap caps and oil container.  Also comes with the Griffin & Howe documents.
