Description: General Specs: Browning, Year 1966, .22 LR, 5lbs 9oz, LOP 13 5/8" Serial Number: 25747X6 The Browning T-Bolt was a new design that allowed a straight pull bolt action rifle to more efficiently cycle .22 Long Rifle cartridges from the magazine to the chamber. Made from 1965 through 1974, they were premium, Belgium made, full-sized rifles that were well respected with the American audience. The T2 “DELUXE” had nice European walnut stocks, hand checkered with a mullered border, and this one shipped from the factory with a satin oil finish and factory installed peep sight. The gun is in 99% factory original condition, with a mint, shiny bore, barrel blue at 100% showing no wear, and just a few marks on the trigger guard. There are two tiny marks in the wood from storage, otherwise the wood and checkering are 100%. 1966 production is just short of the salt years that Browning went through, but we have chemically tested the stock for any signs of salt wood, and it is guaranteed to be salt free by Vintage Firearms, Inc. These are great guns and we are pricing this gun just under market value, as 99% guns from the earliest serial numbers will be sold for more than our asking price. LEFT HANDED SHOOTERS HAVE FEW GUNS TO CHOOSE FROM, AND BROWNING MADE A SMALL NUMBER OF THESE NICE T BOLTS IN LEFT HANDED MODELS, SO DON’T HESITATE ON THIS ONE OR SHE WILL BE GONE! Thanks for looking!
