Imported for only 2 years between 2003 and 2004, the Anschutz Model 17 LP Varmint Pistol in .17 HMR is quite scarce. This example was bought new and has spent it's entire life in storage, never once fired or carried afield since leaving the Anschutz factory 16 years ago. It is in mint condition and comes complete with the original box and paperwork. The Model 17 LP Varmint Pistol features the famous Anschutz 64 Match action mated to a match-grade 12" inch barrel with no iron sights, mounted in a synthetic pistol grip stock with a 5-round detachable box magazine. The action is a left-hand action for quick follow-up shots without having to release your strong hand from the pistol grip for a right-handed shooter. The blued match-grade receiver is both grooved and drilled and tapped for optics giving you multiple mounting options. The adjustable 2-stage trigger is absolutely amazing at the factory setting, breaking like a thin glass rod with slightly more than a pound of pressure. The factory blue finish is like-new on this pistol and does not show any wear or marring. The bore is immaculate with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The factory stock is like-new as well, with no damage or wear. All of the controls are 100% functional and crisp. This Anschutz pistol is capable of amazing accuracy and with the addition of a high quality scope should be a blast to take to the range or afield.
