This 1999 vintage Browning BLR-22 Grade 2 rifle is an exceptional example. It is excellent all-original condition and appears to be unfired. The Grade 2 BLR-22 features a factory engraved reciever and a deluxe checkered Walnut stock set, upgrades from the plain Grade 1 model. The original factory gloss blue finish on this Browning rates 98 to 99%, with the only deduction being some tiny little specs in the finish on the bottom of the lever. The factory gold finish on the trigger as well as the gold "fill" in the Browning "Buckmark" logo on the lever rate 99%. The bore is immaculate. The rifling has sharp lands and grooves and there are no visible imperfections. The internals are just as clean as the exterior. The original checkered Walnut stock set is in like-new condition and free from any wear or damage. The wood on this particular BLR-22 is better than most we have encountered with some particularly nice figure and color. The factory applied gloss finish is 100% intact. The factory buttplate is in excellent condition, perfectly fit to the buttstock, and tight to the wood. The action is smooth and tight, and goes into battery perfectly. All of the controls on this rifle work 100% like the day it left the factory.
