This Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .30 Carbine caliber is in superb condition, appears unfired, and is all-original except for the custom faux pearl grips. It appears that this 1975 vintage Ruger has spent the vast majority of it's life in storage. The original blue finish rates 98% plus, with the only deductions coming from a VERY faint drag line visible only under close inspection, a few tiny little marks next to the rear sight on the top strap, and some very light staining on the bright sides of the hammer. As you can see from the pictures provided of those areas, these deductions do not detract much at all from the exceptionally clean look of this Ruger. The 7.5" inch barrel has a perfect minty bore, and the cylinder bores are equally as pristine. The face of the cylinder and the forcing cone show evidence of this gun ever having been fired. There is no carbon residue or evidence of cleaning in these areas. The aftermarket grips are in excellent condition. They are free from any cracks, chipping, or repairs, and they fit the gun nicely. The action on this Ruger is perfect. The action is smooth and precise, perfectly "in time". All of the controls/functions on this Blackhawk are in perfect working order. If you have been looking for an investment-worthy example of the .30 Carbine Ruger Blackhawk, you would be very hard pressed to find one in better condition than this one!
