This is an 1860 Colt 1st Model Richards Conversion .44 centerfire revolver. This revolver has all matching serial numbers (#194617) on the frame, barrel, cylinder, trigger guard, gripstrap, and grip. Accoring to Colt's Manufacturing LLC serial number database the revolver was manufactured in 1871. It retains 30% of the original nickel finish with beautiful brown patina. Strong case colors remain on the frame. The action is tight and fully functional with no lateral play in the receiver, and crisp, firm locking of the cylinder. It retains its standard 1860 Army grips and finish. The barrel is smooth and metalwork exhibit plum colored patina with the some original nickel. The ejector rod has retained 70% of the original nickel finish. The cylinder retains 20% of the naval battle scene. The trigger guard has 70% of the original nickel finish.
