Up for sale is a nice ’71 Jaeger Mauser. Made by Oesterreichische Waffenfabrik of Steyr. All matching and unit marked to a Jaeger battalion. The bore is very good – sharp with a small area of roughness. The cartouches are present and crisp. The action is crisp. No cleaning rod. The only real booger is that the stock is duffel cut, and not under the band. If you know someone that is good with wood this can be repaired to make the cut minimally visible or a replacement piece of wood and be fitted from under the band. But you probably know this. You will be helping to fund my daughter’s final tuition payment at a fancy private art college if you purchase, thereby “supporting the arts.” Shipping is by USPS, shipping weight is c. 11.5 lbs.
