Description:
Winchester pump action rifle in .22 Short. Model 1890 made in 1901 (s/n 1169xx). Take-down version with 24" octagonal barrel. Barrel retains most of the original blueing with most wear at the muzzle and some faded spots. Rear sight was replaced at some point with a unit by Savage (needs elevator). Receiver is roughly 70% with majority of wear on the bottom and top surfaces. Original hardwood stock with crescent butt plate. There are opposing cracks in the stock at the bottom near the buttplate but do not connect through the wood (see photos). Bore shows some light frosting with rifling present.
