Western Arms Long Range Special 12 ga
Western Arms was a division of the Ithaca Gun Co. in Ithaca, NY where this gun was produced from 1929 to 1946. They were made to compete with other good solid basic field grade guns on the market at that time. The one offered here is a 12 ga with standard 2 3/4 inch chambers, 28” barrels bore full & modified, length of pull is 13 ¾ in. over a pad, DC = 1 ¾”, DH 2 ¾” and SN24295. It also has selective automatic ejectors and twin ivory beads – features rarely found on guns of this quality. It is in both excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It functions perfectly – including the ejectors and retains 99% original finish – including case colors. An interesting bit of trivia is that I bought it for my collection 25 years ago from Johnny Cash’s brother.
