This is a fine example of serendipity of gun manufacturing. The Italian Army adopted the M1 Garand as its main battle rifle in the 50's. The US shipped Winchester machines to Baretta and Breda to produce the weapons. The FKF is a batch made by Italians for the Danish army. Just goes to show internationally regarded this weapon design really is... a Canadian designed it for the Americans who gave it to the Italians who built it for the Danes... and I did that in just one breath, whew...
