Description:
The markings are clear except the top barrel address has faded completely. The serial numbers match including the cylinder, however the wedge is a later replacement. The walnut grips are very good and free from major damage. The overall condition is as shown. The patina is a deep plum color. The bore is clean with good rifling. The action is smooth, the mechanics have been worked in well together. Like Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad , and The Ugly; building his revolver with well-fitting parts until he hears that smooth click, click, click… Own a piece of Civil War history! Own the original! Box is a later a reproduction.
