Nice example of an pre-war sporter. Checkered Walnut stock with Schnabel fore end and 1 ¼” sling swivels. Includes original Lyman #40 receiver sight, factory steel butt plate, push button clip release, ramp front sight with set screw adjustment. Comes with one clip. Less than 6000 made between 1928 and 1940. Great addition to any Savage collection. Has a few handling marks, but overall great shape, as you can see from the pictures.
