Description:
This is a very nice Sharps Rifle that has the lug for thr saber bayonet. It would rate a six or seven. It is sound, original, and complete. This is the standard .52 Cal. Model with the standard length barrel.
The bore looks strong with the usual accumulation of fuzz and dust. It should clean up nicely.
The wood is sound and in good shape with the exception of three period dents across the comb.The action is strong,sound, and tight.
there are no inspectors marks present. This one probably went to one of the states such as Georgia or Connecticut.
this is A very nice 165 year old gun. I do not warrant it as a shooter. It. Would display nicely in any collection.
