Payment Types Accepted: Certified check, bank check, check linked credit card Description: This is a fine example of Remington's first series of side by side hammerless shotguns. Built in 1902, the Blue Book Of Gun Values lists this gun as scarce in 16 gauge BE grade with ejectors. It has stood the test of time as evidenced in the condition of the fine Damscus barrels and the great condition of the stock and forend. The barrels have been reblued at some point and the bores are bright with only very minor pitting. The stock has one small chip to the right of the top tang in the area of the safety. Features include a single front sight mounted on a flat matted rib, Purdey forend release and an older Pachmyer rubber butt pad. This is a light gun well suited for upland hunting or the sporting clays course.
