This Pistol was produced between 1945 to 1950 with approximately 150,000 produced during that time. The pistol's serial number is 164374. It has the 4 1/2 inch barrel. It was made at the New Haven Conn. plant. It is chambered for the 22 long rifle cartridge. The grips are the plastic style with checkering. This pistol shows little use or wear. The magazine is the correct magazine for this model. The rear sight is adjustable. The pistol's original bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. The action works smoothly and the slide has little play. This is a very nice High Standard pistol that has seen little use. It is a nicely balanced pistol that would be fun to shoot!
