Description: General Specs: Beretta, Year 1960, 10 Gauge, 10 lbs, Chokes IM/F, LOP 14", DAH 2 3/8", DAC 1 5/6" Serial Number: C37639 The Beretta Silver Hawk is a robustly manufactured gun that was known for top-quality steels and manufacturing methods from the world’s oldest firearms manufacturer, Beretta of Italy. There are not many of these guns being offered for sale, and when you do see one it has seen hard use and shows it. This gun is unique in that it has seen little use and it has a very crisp SINGLE TRIGGER FOR THOSE COLD DAYS HUNTING WATERFOWL WITH HEAVY GLOVES. The gun weighs 10lbs. 7oz. and balances surprisingly well with its 31 ½” barrels choked IM/F. This is a gun that will withstand true MAGNUM 10GA. LOADS THROWING 2 OUNCES OF LEAD AT 1300FPS, and the pad and weight of the gun makes it surprisingly comfortable to shoot. Built in 1960, it still retains 99% factory finishes on metal and wood, with just a few light handling marks in the wood. There are no cracks or repairs anywhere, and the barrels are tight as new on the hinge pin and breech face and the bores are mirror perfect. Most all of these guns were produced with double triggers. Usually that is what I and others prefer, but there is an exception. When the weather gets cold (read “waterfowling season”) and you need heavier gloves to keep warm, two triggers become a real challenge and even a safety issue. That is when a single trigger makes sense, with more room in the trigger guard and no manipulation of triggers. We are offering this gun at a very attractive price, so don’t hesitate or she will be gone. Thanks for looking!
