For sale is a beautiful sporting Mauser made by Churchill of London. This gun is marked "Churchill (Gunmakers) Ltd, 7 Bury Street, London SW, England" , "made in England" and "Cal 30-06" on the barrel. It is what was referred to as a "One of One Thousand" Rifle and made for the 20th anniversary of Interarms. While examples chambered in .375H&H or .458 Win Mag command prices in excess of $4000 - this is still a fine example of what a British Best gunmaker can produce. Bluing is dark with very few signs of wear. French walnut stock has an oil finish, hand checkering and rosewood accents - complimented by a white line pad spacer at the butt and grip cap. 24" barrel with folding leaf "express" style sights.
