Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine .38-55wcf. The serial number of this example is 2780XX placing date of manufacture in 1903. Overall condition is very good with 20-25% of the original factory finish remaining. The metal has toned to a very nice even patina. The bore is very good with shine from breech to muzzle. The rifling is all present with some fouling. I would rate the bore a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. The wood to metal fit is perfect with no breaks cracks or slivers missing. You will see 110 years of storage / handling marks as expected. Great shooter in the most desirable caliber.
