Early 20th Century Concealed Carry Gun
Here we present a Belgian Folding Trigger Pocket Revolver, made in Belgium circa early 20th Century. The years following the American Civil War saw the rise of a host of companies that produced small, inexpensive metallic cartridge handguns. Many of these were produced overseas in Europe. Product lines ran from copies of firearms by established American manufacturers. This diminutive revolver is equipped with a folding trigger for even further compact stowage. Left side of the frame has a simple external safety lever. Belgian proof marks may be found throughout. This would have been a great concealed carry revolver at the turn of the century!
The overall condition is fine. The blue finish is 95%. The markings are clear. The grips are smooth and solid with even color. The bore is in good shape with strong rifling. The action is excellent, strong and crisp. Here is a neat little curiosity for your collection!
