Description:
Merkel 47E - This classic double was built in November of 1990 and features a casehardened frame with scallops, cocking indicators, ejectors, and double triggers. The lockup is by the Greener cross bolt mechanism and is tight. The stock and forend are deluxe checkered walnut. The 28 inch barrels are choked modified and improved modified and ring very nicely. The length of pull measures 14 1/4 inches, drop at heel 2 7/8 inches, drop at comb 1 3/8 inches and the cast off at approximately ¼ inches.
