Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: Collector grade Springfield Armory 1884 Trapdoor. This rifle was manufactured in 1890 and is chambered in 45-70. It is in excellent condition for its age with a lot of blueing and case colors present, strong cartouches, and a bore that I would rate as a 9 out of 10. The bayonet comes with a NJ marked scabbard which (according to my research) indicates that is was issued to the New Jersey Militia. Please look at the multiple pictures and decide for yourself the condition of this gun. I think you will be hard pressed to find a nicer example to add to your collection!
