Description:
24 inch round barrel with full length mag tube and shotgun butt with hard rubber butt pad. Bore has good shine and rifling with a few scattered light pits. Not too bad at all. Action is smooth. Traces of case colors on hammer and lever. Barrel is a plum/brown patina with blue in protected area between the barrel and mag tube. Tube is thinning blue. Receiver is plum colored with some original blue showing through. Butt pad is in good condition with no cracks or chips. Wood is solid and good fitting with the addition of a nicely carved "G P" on the stock. Apparently "G P" was proud enough of this Winchester to put his initials on it. The gun is 113 years old, and you could be proud of it too.
