Description:
This is truly a super gun - and a great gun to judge the original condition of other guns of its age. This well preserved gun has 28" Vulcan barrels with all correct factory markings. Case hardened #1 frame is fitted with automatic safety and double triggers, with "Parker Bros" on sides. Blued trigger guard has serial number on tang. American walnut stocks with "Parker" capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14" over Parker dogs head buttplate with spur. Original flat top point pattern checkering in two point pattern through the wrist. Matching splinter forend has patent date on unusual Parker release. This gun is very close to “as new” with only a few very light marks, mostly on wood. There is a very light scratch on left side of action, and a few very minor dings on forend. Original color on forend latch is mostly faded gray. Trigger guard is slightly silvered on sharp edges, thinned a bit at grip. Hinge pin bolt retains nearly all of its temper blue as do triggers. Bores are excellent and it appears this gun has been mostly handled and test fired only. Mechanically excellent, lever well right of center. Brilliant like a diamond!
Technicals on the gun: 2-1/2" chambers. Bores measure .666(right) .665(left). Chokes are .018(right) and .033(left). MWT is .022(right) and .023(left). Gun weighs 6lbs 10oz. The drops are 1-9/16 DAC, 2-5/8" DAH with LOP of 14" over the minty DHBP.
