Description:
Handsome and distinctive is this vintage 760 BDL Deluxe Pump. Distinquished by the unique stepped receiver and basket weave impressed checkered stock set. Pretty honey colored stock with monte carlo comb and raised cheek piece and basket weave style checkering separate this from the stadard 760's of the era. This model was produced from 1966 until 1980, however this one was made in May of 1976 per barrel date code.
Condition is excellent with a few light handling marks but not rusted or pitted, no meaningful scratches to metal or stocks.
Comes with excellent wide field type 2 X 7 Period Correct Redfield with nice tapered cross hair reticle on Redfield one peice base. This gun has had very litle use; the slide bar retains almost full blue refecting this. Front and rear sites were removed to not appear in scope picture and did not come with the gun.
Chambered in 30-06 with factory loadings avail in a wide range of bullet weights making it capable of everything from Varmints to Moose, Elk and Bear.
A few light scratches on the deeply blued receiver and some minor scuffing to the hard RKW finish on wood.
The value of the excellent period correct Redfield is $ 100.00 to 120.00 if sold separate but is included with the price of this fine gun.
