Description:
Mauser P.38 in 9mm Luger. War time production. Features a 5" barrel, original sights, bakelite grips and the barrel and frame have matching serial numbers. The pistol has German war time marks. The slide is marked with "byf" code for the Mauser manufacturing plant, and date stamp of "43". The right side of the slide is marked twice with "eagle over 135" a Waffenamt inspection mark, and a "eagle over swastika", a military test proof. The magazine at the back side is stamped with an "eagle over 88", the Waffenamt inspection mark.
