This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1884 is a breech loading Trapdoor rifle in .45-70 Cal. It has a 29.5 inch barrel and smooth grip hardwood straight stock. It was used by the U.S. Army in the late 1800's. In overall decent condition for its age it comes as is.
