U.S. Springfield Model 1879 Trapdoor 45-70 caliber rifle. Rifle is in very good condition, metal has a gray patina. Wood shows wear marks, no cracks. Faint cartouche is visible. Bore is great, shows small area of frosting. Good affordable Trapdoor.
