U.S. Springfield Model 1840 Flintlock Musket. Rare U.S. Springfield Model 1840 Flintlock Musket. These were the last Flintlock musket manufactured at Springfield Armory. Stock is in great shape. Shows minor handling wear. Lock plate is dated 1842. Barrel is dated 1843. Barrel has some areas of patina. Musket is in great condition. A very nice rare collectors piece!
